Mikata Health

Mikata Health is a start-up based in Calgary offering chat-based solutions to clinics. Mikata’s product aims to improve the experience of information gathering between clinics and their patients through mobile forms presented as conversational messaging chats. I contributed to this project as an agency partner through Versett.

The problem

Mikata Health’s workflow for creating and managing clinic chat scripts was a manual process, which meant it was time consuming and error prone. Because conversations could branch depending on the clinic-patient’s answers, working documents for chats would be large, complex and hard to work with as excel sheets.

The solution

Versett recommended an approach that included a chat builder solution, which would offer: chat templates, libraries, in addition to bespoke chat scripts that both Mikata reps and clinics could manage through visual editors. My contribution was for how patient’s would input data points in the patient-facing chat experience, as well as how the chat editor experience would be.

The Rogers for Business redesign had created components related to promotion offers in previous customer journeys, but had not defined a cohesive system for how or when these components would be used.
